Hi! I’m Joe, a linguist-turned-potter and ceramic artist from Southern California. I’ve worked with clay for seven years, with an emphasis on functional forms. My wheel throwing classes help students hone their skills at various levels, from beginners working on the basics to advanced students looking to refine their technique, throw in sections, or tackle larger and more complicated forms. When not at the wheel, I’m often pit firing pottery, biking the LA River, or designing my next line of ceramic wares for a local bakery, café, or showroom
