Wheel Throwing Session:
New to pottery or want to get more experience? Come join us at NAPS for a one-off class where you will learn to throw your very own bowl on the potters wheel! You’ll be taught by a wonderful NAPS instructor on technique and guided through from start to finish.
Once your bowl dries in a few weeks, we will finish it with a color of your choice. Pieces ready for pick up in 3-4 weeks.

Pottery Date Night
Want a unique and fun date night? Join us for one of our fun date nights!
We offer two different types of date nights:
Date Night @ the Wheel
Join us with your loved one for a fun 1.5 hour class where you will learn how to throw together at the wheel. Our expert instructor will guide you on the basics of wheel throwing on the potters wheel and help you throw and shape your own bowl.
At the end of class you will pick a color for us to glaze your piece with once it is ready. You will receive an email in a few weeks to collect your pieces which will serve as a sweet keepsake of your time together at NAPS!
Mug Magic Date Nights
Come and join us for date night at NAPS and handbuild your own mug!
During this 3 hour date night class, we will use handbuilding techniques to build a mug from clay. You will learn slab building techniques to construct your very own morning mug.
Following class, we will fire your mug and glaze it in a color of your choosing, ready for pick up in 3-4 weeks as a memento of your date night together.

Each class focuses on a different set of techniques and has a different project that you will be guided through by our expert instructors.
Once your piece is built, you will select a color and we will glaze your final piece in a few weeks for collection.
KIDS
Come join our kids workshop where we will explore clay and use our hands to build some very cool things together!
Over the course of our class, you’ll learn about clay and get to make your very own creation.
Once it’s dry in a week or two, you can come back in to paint your creation during our drop in hours. It will then pop back into our oven for one more session and then you can come pick it up to take home!
Join us for a fun intergenerational family session hand building with clay! Together, you and your kid(s) will tackle some fun projects together using your hands and various tools to create unique keepsakes together.
Whether your a grandma, an uncle, a carer, or a parent, this session is designed for adults and children to come together and explore the medium of clay. Price is per person and if there are not enough spots, please email us so we can see if we can add a few on.
Once we’re done with the workshop, you will come back in a few weeks to collect your finished pieces.
TEeN THROWING
Ever wanted to try out the pottery wheel? Now is your chance in a small format class with other teens.
Together, we will explore the basics of wheel throwing so you can make your own bowl on the wheel. No experience is necessary! Our instructors are super friendly and helpful and will guide you through everything step-by-step!
Once we’re done, you’ll pick a color and you can come back in a few weeks to collect your piece 🙂
This 3 hour workshop will focus on the fundamentals of working with slabs and decorating with underglaze using the sgraffito technique. Sgraffito comes from the Italian word “graffiare” which means to scratch. Participants will build and design a slab piece and will decorate their creations by painting them with colored underglazes and scratching away designs to expose the clay underneath. Participants are encouraged to bring images (print outs) for inspiration.
All pieces will be dipped in clear glaze and be ready for pick up 2 weeks after the workshop.
Come prepare for the holiday season and make your own platter to serve as the centerpiece for your festivities. Whether you want to make a gift for a loved one or need a new and unique plate for your epic cheese board, this workshop is perfect for anyone – no experience needed!

Moon Magic:
Join NAPS Founder Lauren & Aura Photographer Monika George (@CosmicHour) to celebrate the Full Moon in Taurus. During this session, participants will handbuild moon bowls, plates, and jewelry pieces while setting intentions. Monika George will be conducting Aura Photography and providing Aura Photo Readings.
Aura photo readings are done using intuitive perception along with a unique camera called the ‘Aura Cam 6000’ to give a comprehensive insight into your emotional-energetic state + spiritual state of being to help you gain spiritual awareness. Clients will come away with a polaroid representation of their human energy field and a better understanding of their own auric radiance.
Join us for a live figure sculpture workshop with the amazing Christina Graland Joseph. During this workshop, Christina will guide you through creating a sculpture of a live model – showing you sculpting techniques each step of the way. This class is a fun experiential learning session for anyone who has wanted to learn how to sculpt or explore the human form through clay. You can choose to keep your piece after the workshop which we will fire for you for pick up in a month.
Want some 1:1 private instruction on the wheel? Whether you’re a beginner or want to take another class to improve your skills or work towards membership at NAPS, these sessions are a perfect way to jump in!
These dedicated sessions are for 1:1 work but if you’d like to join with a family member or friend, we can accommodate up to two people per these sessions. Want a larger group session? Email [email protected] to set it up!

Come celebrate grandparents day with us! Bring your grandparents to the studio to make your own mug for your morning coffe or tea! This two-hour workshop is open to all ages and comes with light refreshments. We can’t wait to celebrate the amazing grandparents in your life 🙂
This class is primarily in Spanish; however, the instructor is fluent in both Spanish and English and can accomodate English speakers too!
