Join us for a 6 week class to build skills throwing on a pottery wheel!
This program focuses on creating functional ware. Marlon Marinero will guide you in 6 sessions to create pieces for a dinner set, including: bowls; plates; cups; saucers; and tumblers. Course instructor covers food safety and glazing.
This course is perfect for someone is confident in their wheel throwing abilities and now wants to grow their skills before moving to advanced courses.

Join us for a 6 week class to expand your knowledge and skills throwing on a pottery wheel!
You’ll be guided in 6-weekly sessions by a kind and supportive expert instructor who will teach you everything you need to know to improve your throwing on the wheel. This course is perfect for someone who knows the fundamentals of throwing and can center, open, pull, and trim but who wants to grow their skills before moving to intermediate courses.
6-Week Course:

Join us for a 6-week handbuilding course! Over the course of 6 weeks you will be guided through your own handbuilding projects by the wonderful Liz Navarro. Liz will teach you various handbuilding techniques including slab building, coiling, pinch pots, and will also cover glaze techniques.
4-Week Course:
$345 Per Person / Ages 16 +

Jan 9, 2025 – Feb 13, 2025
This six-week course will cover a variety of surface design techniques on hand-built clay forms. Students will be guided by the talented Liz Navarro as they explore sgraffito, carving, mishima, transfers, water etching, stamping, wax/latex resist, underglaze decoration, and more.
4-Week Course:
$255 Per Person / Ages 16 +
6 Classes: Oct 9, 2024 – Oct 30, 2024
Led by the incredible Christina Graland Joseph, this hands-on course will explore the fundamental elements of form and building techniques in ceramic sculpture. Through engaging activities, participants will learn coiling, pinching, and slab-building methods to create one to two unique sculptures. Emphasis will be placed on both the creative process and the technical skills required to manipulate clay.
By the end of the course, students will not only have developed their sculpting techniques but will also gain confidence in expressing their artistic vision. Join us for an inspiring journey into the world of ceramic art!
4-Week Course:
$255 Per Person / Ages 16 +
4 Classes: Oct 29, 2024 – Nov 19, 2024
This beginners friendly class is designed to explore and practice sculpting with coils. During the 4-week session participants will use hand rolled and extruded coils to create a one of a kind sculptural or functional piece.
Coil building is a great technique to build larger and more organic pieces. You can build anything using coils!
We will also explore different decorative and glazing techniques. This is a beginners friendly bilingual class, both English and Spanish speakers are encouraged to sign up.
6-Week Course:
$245 Per Person / Ages 11 – 18
6 Classes: Oct 12, 2024 – Nov 16, 2024
Teen interested in learning how to throw on the potter’s wheel? We have just the perfect class for you!
Join our wonderful instructor Emily for 6 weeks of classes every Saturday morning where you will be taught an introduction to throwing pottery on the wheel.
In this class, you’ll learn how to center, how to open, how to pull walls, and how to trim. If that doesn’t make sense to you now, don’t worry! It soon will!
On your last week, we will glaze together and you can pick up your pieces two weeks later.
Class price includes your clay, glazing, and firing so all you need to bring is yourself and hands that are ready for some clay and fun!
