Artist Directory

Welcome to our Artist Directory, a space to celebrate the incredible creativity within our community and help connect our members with the wider world.

While NAPS is designed as a studio for hobby potters and doesn’t support full-scale production, our members create truly beautiful work. From selling at local markets and online, to taking on commissions or crafting meaningful, one-of-a-kind gifts, their work deserves to be seen.

This directory features our members, making it easy to discover their work, connect with them, and support what they’re creating. We often hear from people looking to commission special pieces or find the perfect handmade gift, and this is a way to point those inquiries directly to our talented community.

Hend-Made (Joseph Henderer)

My work explores materials and interactions, tells stories, and moves figurative icons or themes toward abstraction. My practice is iterative, with heavy prototyping and product testing of functional work. Many of my tools and materials I make or prepare myself, including ribs, silkscreens, underglazes, glazes, and natural colorants.

What I create:
functional (tea ware, dinner sets, jars, planters), semi-figural guarde vases, and decorative work (atmospheric)
Open to:
Commissions and custom orders. Custom order lead times are generally 4-8 weeks, and may vary. I also host a Patreon where you can access my studio notes and various test results for the price of a monthly coffee.

Mimi Vision

My work spans between functional and sculpture wares, often drawing from forms and textures that feel familiar in nature and invite reflection on personal experiences. I’m fascinated by overlap and harmony—hard and soft, delicate and crude, texture and color—and how contrasting elements can come together to create something cohesive and alive. My practice is rooted in curiosity, and I love exploring a wide range of techniques, from slip casting and large-form building to surface decoration, spray glazing, and custom vinyl design. Whether I’m making or teaching, I aim to bring an encouraging, playful energy that helps others feel confident enough to explore and surprise themselves!

Mud Relics

Mud Relics, run by Noni, blends the ethereal and the emotional to produce ceramic pieces that walk the line between everyday and ritual. She has had a life long love affair with the ocean which is evident in her work. With an emphasis on hand building, Noni finds a meditative peace in feeling where the clay takes her. Combining organic movement with intentional detail, her pieces are meant to exist in flow with the lively world around them.

What I create:
Functional and sculptural work, one-offs, custom pieces, and more
Open to:
